Buoyancy

  1. Stab Jacket     Air in - inflate jacket using hose inflator.
                         Air out - deflate Jacket using hose inflator.
  2. Demonstrate dumps top and bottom.
  3. Emergency cylinder explain procedure to inflate and when filled?
  4. Suit -             Air in - inflate suit.
                        Air out - show deflation cuff.
  5. Explain buoyancy method i.e., suit or jacket.
  6. Students repeat 1-5.

Air

  1. Air contents - Show air contents and state exact pressure and taste. Inlude cylinder capacity
  2. Regulator - Identify which is primary, test, show gauge. No Fluctuations whilst breathing
  3. Octopus - Identify and test.
  4. Students repeat 7-9

  1. Shoulder releases x 2 Point to releases and state method of release.
  2. Waist Release x 2 Point to releases and state method of release.
  3. Weight belt - Point to release and state method of release.
  4. Suit feed - Point to release and state method of release.
  5. Students repeat 11-14.
