Dry Run

  1. Demonstrate making up shot (break it down) - Students repeat
  2. Demonstrate lowering shot - Students repeat
  3. Demonstrate reeling out and dropping reel - Students repeat.
  4. Demonstrate search to shot and back - Students repeat
  5. Demonstrate moving reel and rerun circuit - Students repeat

Deep

  1. Surface swim to area. S1 has shot etc.
  2. Demonstrate partial dropping of shot, S1 and S2 repeat
  3. All swim to place and drop weighted reel
  4. Surface swim back to shot and descend
  5. Follow line to reel and pull taught.
  6. Position students and start search along distance line
  7. S1 and S2 adjust positions twice and repeat circuit
  8. Repeat until object found
  9. Recover equipment
