19. Delayed SMB Deployment
| Key Points |
Beware entanglement with inflation device, If
possible anchor SMB to wreckage etc., otherwise anchor yourself,
or use two reels, deploy from highest position possible, hold away
from buddy. At no time is SMB clipped to diver. Ensure DSMB is
at surface before it is unclipped. Avoid free flows (inflate with
exhaled air) if risk is high. |
